Strengthening International Collaboration in Intelligent Gate Automation and Port Technology
Belgium | Tuesday, 21 January 2025 – As part of its commitment to delivering world-class automation and smart infrastructure solutions, a delegation from Auto Consult Ventures Limited (ACVL) conducted a technical site visit to the headquarters of COMCO in Belgium.
The visit formed part of ACVL’s strategic initiative to strengthen international partnerships, exchange technical knowledge, and explore advanced technologies that support the modernization of Ghana’s transport and port operations.
During the visit, the ACVL team engaged with COMCO’s technical experts and management to gain firsthand insight into the design, deployment, and operation of intelligent gate automation systems. The discussions focused on innovative access control technologies, automated vehicle processing, system integration, and digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security.
The delegation toured MPET with COMCO’s technical Team, where they observed live demonstrations of advanced gate automation technologies, including intelligent vehicle identification, automated barrier systems, integrated access control, and centralized monitoring platforms. The visit also provided an opportunity to review best practices in system engineering, maintenance, and project implementation.
